TonyMoly launched their Pokémon line a loooooong time ago, but I finally got to using and finishing this particular product. I’ll just say it, I’m not fan of this product at all. To me, it didn’t really help moisturize my skin or do much to it in general. Let’s break it down a bit.
Take the necessary amount of cream that you need/want and apply it to your face and neck. It’s really quite simple, but since there is no spatula to apply the product, it can be a little messy. If you have long nails like I do, it can get especially annoying to get the excess cream out from under your nails.
The TonyMoly Squirtle/Kkobugi Water Moisture Cream didn’t moisturize my skin as promoted, and it was sticky for quite a while after applying it. Also, the little moisture that I had felt after applying the cream quickly left my skin.
It comes in a large tub (300ml) with a screw on lid. Like I mentioned earlier, there is no spatula that comes with this product, so you have to scoop it out with your hands, which to me, could cause contamination. The cream is pretty loose, so you could always just dump a bit of it on your hand and then rub it on your face.
The screw on lid is really strong. I mean, REALLY strong. My cat, Moonlight, has knocked it off from the top of my vanity over ten times and it never cracked once.
There’s a pretty strong scent. It’s bearable for me, but I’m sure it could bother others. It’s a very strong floral scent.
It didn’t feel nice on my skin at all. When it dried, it felt like there was a thin layer of glue on my face, kind of like a peel off mask. Not something enjoyable at all especially when you don’t expect a cream to feel like that.
Final Thoughts & Recommendation:
Would I buy it again? Nope. There are way better moisture creams out there. The packaging is hella cute, but it’s not worth the money in my opinion. From the whole Pokémon collection, this is the most disappointing product. Overall, I give it a 4/10.
