Innisfree has a new line of beauty masks called My Real Pet Mask. Innisfree created this line as a special Lunar New Year promotion. It’s only being sold in stores or on the Innisfree Korean website. I’m not sure how long they’ll be out, so you better act fast and get them if you want one!
- After cleansing, use toner to smooth out your skins texture
- Unfold and place the mask on the face, avoiding your eyes and mouth
- Leave the mask on for 10-20 mintues
- After throwing out the mask, gently pat the left over essence into your skin for further absorption
Applying this mask was a little tricky. As you can see from the photo below, the mask didn’t quite fit around the top of my nose and where my eyes are. I guess my nose is too high…sigh… Other than that area, I would say that the mask did fit okay. I think that the My Real Pet Mask Chihuahua fit just as well as the Husky mask.
The mask had many slits, two near the cheeks and under the chin, so it fit fairly well. There are also directions and an ingredients list in Korean and English.
견종: 치와와 (Kind: Chihuahua)
나이: 2세 (Age: 2 year old)
성별: 여 (Sex: female)
특징: 청순 가련한 외모, 눈밑에 매력점이 있음. (Character: Naive appearance, an attractive mole below her eye.)
고민: 영양이 부족해 보이는 피부 (Worries: Malnourished looking skin)
The My Real Pet Mask Chihuahua have my skin a lot of moisture! It’s exactly what I expected from a skin nourishing mask. The essence was thin, so it absorbed into my skin well. After removing the mask and tapping in the excess essence, I could see that my skin was less red than before and was glowing.
The smell of the essence was a little chemically for me. However, it did smell much better than the Pug mask. I have no idea what was up with that essence, but the scent of this mask is much better.
Since the essence was thin, it did slip off my face at the beginning. However, as the essence was absorbed, it stayed put. The essence absorbed well and wasn’t sticky. Overall, I enjoyed the feeling of this mask. It left my skin feeling fresh and not too heavy with product.
Final Thoughts & Recommendation:
I’m trying to see the connection between chihuahuas and nourishment. Maybe Innisfree went with this pairing because chihuahuas seem to be frail and weak, so they need a lot of nourishment and care. Or…maybe I’m just thinking about it too much. Nonetheless, I did enjoy this mask, and I would get it again. I give it an 8.5/10.
Once again, you can only buy it at an Innisfree shop or on their Korean site. Stay tuned for more reviews of the other My Real Pet Masks!
