Masks are great and fun. However, sometimes they can cause more stress than relaxation. Let’s take a look at the Botanic Heal (boH) Anti-Wrinkle Petit Spot Solution masks. This mask pack was bought at Olive Young, which is kind of like a Korean Sephora with less makeup and more skincare. It carries a lot Korean brands as well at brands from Japan, the US, and other countries. There are a lot of great things you can get from here including beauty tools, vitamins, healthy snacks and junk food snacks, and so much more.

Application: 1/10

  1. Wash your face and use toner to tidy it up.
  2. Open the product and take out the patches.
    1. Apply the lip patch by aligning it with your lips.]
    2. Apply the smile patches by aligning them above your lips and under the rounded part of your nose (*smile line patches can also be used for under your eyes)
  3. Leave on for 20 minutes, and then gently pat skin for further absorption

It was actually quite annoying applying these gel patches. The lip mask stayed out a little bit better than the smile line patches, but still super annoying! They kept slipping off!

Packaging: 5/10

Since this is a combo pack, once the outer packaging is removed, you can apply the masks at the same time or individually. The directions are in both Korean and English. However, the ingredients list is only in Korean. Peeling back the plastic to get to the gel mask was a little tough since there was no defined area to peel back first. It’s also difficult to get the gel patches out from the package once it’s opened.

Moisturizing: Smile Patch 0/10 – Lip Patch 8/10

Honestly, the smile line patches were awful. No moisture. No essence. No nothing! However, the lip patch was pretty moisturizing. I had really dry lips, but this mask helped them rehydrate quite a lot. Sorry for the potato of a photo!

Scent: 6/10

The smile line patches had no scent, which is kind of a bummer. I like having a little bit of a scent to my masks. The lip patch had a really artificial cherry scent. Like it was sickly sweet. If it was toned down a bit, I wouldn’t have minded it as much.

Feeling: 1/10

The lip patch was this product’s saving grace, but it didn’t even stay on that much better than the smile line patches. The smile line patches kept falling off constantly! I had to lay down after three minutes because they just kept slipping of. The lip patch only stayed on after pressing it down for a long time. The only good feeling about the patches were that they were cool on my skin.

Final Thoughts & Recommendation:

The Botanic Heal (boH) Anti-Wrinkle Petit Spot Solution mask pack was a total dud for me. I wasn’t happy with it at all. I give it a 3/10 and I’ll never buy it again. I have yet to find a “smile line patch” that actually stays on my face. I’ll have to keep testing products until I find a good one. I think this product is a waste of money, but check it out for yourself. Who knows, you might end up liking it. At least I know I looked goofy with the mustache smile line patches on.

All of my reviews are based off of my own experiences. I’ll never give a high rating on a product if I don’t like it. Even if it’s a popular product, I’ll still call it like I see it.
